Neon Impressions

The series began unexpectedly while I was searching for stencil ideas for new street-inspired works. During that process, I came across collections of vintage postage stamps and became fascinated by the craftsmanship, symbolism, and detail contained within these small printed images — many of them created more than a century ago.

The title Neon Impressions reflects both the vibrant visual language of the series and its connection to my earlier Neon Love works, where themes of urban decay, street culture, and layered communication first began to emerge.

By transforming these overlooked artifacts of communication into bold contemporary pieces, the series creates a dialogue between history and modern culture — preserving the elegance of the past while reimagining it through a distinctly modern lens.
